Maeve Cooke 

Director

Maeve joined access CINEMA as its Programme Manager in 2006, before becoming its Managing Director and Chief Financial Officer in 2007. She is responsible for agreeing general company policy, leading the organisation’s artistic programming, implementing company strategies and promotion, and overseeing all financial matters.

Karen Wall

Senior Film Programme Adviser and Audience Development Manager

Karen joined access CINEMA in 2012. Her role includes the curation of the available and recommended content lists to the sites on the access CINEMA Network. She works directly with members who screen from DCP (Digital Cinema Package) format to reach their final film programming choices.

Michael Ryan

Film Programme Adviser

Michael joined access CINEMA in 2015. His role is to guide non-DCP members in choosing films for their audience and act as their intermediary in negotiating film licenses. He is also the first point of contact for potential new members.

Maria Brennan

Film Programme Adviser

Maria has been with access CINEMA since 2017. She looks after both DCP and Non DCP venues across the network, in delivering their film programmes. She also looks after delivery for events, festivals and additional projects within access CINEMA.

Stephen McNeice

Special Projects Officer

Stephen joined Access>CINEMA in 2022 and has worked on a number of the organisation’s special projects,including the CINNOVATE project, MyCinema and the New Audience Initiative. He also co-programmes the annual Japanese Film Festival, organised in association with the Japanese Embassy in Ireland.
