Screenings at Airfield, Dundrum - Integral Are the Children of Invention

There will be electric houses, prolonged chain reactions, alchemistic mechanics and Victorian time travel (with piano accompaniment).

Artist Jennie Moran will launch the research phase of her Airfield residency by hosting a series of film
screenings in celebration of innovative gadgetry and resourceful ingenuity.

The series with start on Thursday Feb 7th at 8pm with a screening of Buster Keaton's Electric House. This screening is supported by access>CINEMA.

Each screening will be followed by a small presentation on subjects related to the films shown, such as informal infrastructures, temporary permanence, the industrial revolution, sustainable play.

Themed refreshments will be provided.
