“It's wonderful.” The Irish Times

Postman’s son Armand (Douglas Booth) finds himself tasked with delivering one of Vincent van Gogh’s final letters. Travelling to picturesque Auvers-sur-Oise, he meets the people who knew the painter’s during his final days. As he hears more about van Gogh, Armand becomes fascinated by the stories of a complex man and his mysterious death…

Years in the making, Loving Vincent is a biopic with a difference. This visually stunning film was shot in live action before a small army of artists handpainted every frame in the style of van Gogh.

Told through multiple perspectives (with a talented cast including Saoirse Ronan and Chris O’Dowd), Loving Vincent lives up to its name and offers an affectionate tribute to one of history’s greatest artists.
