French film fans in Ireland will be able to catch a series of free screenings, in Dublin or online, in July to mark Bastille Day 2023.
To mark the French National Day, a series of special film screenings will take place in association with Dublin City libraries. In-person screenings include The Crusade from actor-director Louis Garrel and the charming comedy-drama The Rose Maker starring Catherine Frot.
All screenings are free admission and will take place between Monday 10th July and Wednesday 19th July.
Two films will also be available to watch online for free – the documentary The Mysteries of the Cosquer Cave (also screening in-person at Instituto Cervantes on Wednesday 12th July) and the comedy Me, My Lover & I from filmmaker Caroline Vignal (also screening in-person at Central Library in ILAC Centre on Friday 14th July).
