Are you missing attending screenings at your local film club or arts centre venue - Try access>CINEMA at Home

Are you missing attending screenings at your local film club or arts centre venue?
Why not check if they are participating in our new access>CINEMA at Home screenings?
access>CINEMA at Home provides a virtual cinema experience that allows film clubs and arts centre to bring a new or recent film digitally to their audiences.
access>CINEMA at Home also aims to support independent cinema by returning some of the proceeds from screenings back to the participating film clubs and arts centre presenting the chosen films.
Arts Centres and film clubs who are participating in this initiative are organising online home viewings where they encourage their audiences to all watch the selected film at a specific time, and therefore re-create the cinema experience they normally provide.
Audience members wishing to join the virtual cinema screening will be provided with a link by their local film club or venue, through which they can purchase the week's chosen film.
While purchasing, the audience member can choose to donate part of the film rental proceeds to a chosen film club or arts centre and therefore support that organisation as a champion of independent cinema.
The first film that was offered back in April as part of access>CINEMA at Home was The Perfect Candidate, the latest film from Wadjda director Haifaa Al Mansour, presented with thanks to Modern Films.
Since then 30 films have been offered through this initiative to help those sites that remain closed to engage and remain connected with their film audiences.
A diverse range of films are on offer including the multi-award winning German drama System Crasher, which was the top rated film at access>CINEMA's VIEWING:SESSIONS 2019, music documentaries White Riot and Carmine Street Guitar, alongside the touching Danish drama A Perfectly Normal Family, winner of the Audience Award at the 2020 International Film Festival Rotterdam.
New titles are being negotiated and added on a regular basis, with a portion of each customer rental being paid to the arts centre or film club hosting the virtual screening.
