Free places for access>CINEMA members on Film Hub NI's Moving Pictures training

Film Hub NI's Moving Pictures training, starting on Thursday January 28th, is open to access>CINEMA members.

In response to the COVID pandemic, Film Hub NI, with support from Northern Ireland Screen, has developed a new training programme called Moving Pictures. Moving Pictures aims to encourage independent and community cinemas, film festivals and venues across Northern Ireland to explore online opportunities for engaging audiences with the best of local and international film.

The first part of the Moving Pictures programme comprises of nine one-hour weekly training sessions delivered via Zoom. A variety of topics will be covered including Video on Demand (VOD) platforms and programming, accessibility, audience development and marketing.

The sessions will run over lunchtime and have been developed so that organisations may attend all or as many sessions as possible, or allocate attendance at sessions to different members in the organisation.

These training sessions are free to attend for both Film Hub NI and access>CINEMA members, but places must be booked in advance.

This training starts on Thursday January 28th at 12 noon with an introductory session presented by Hugh and Sarah from Film Hub NI, who will provide an overview of the Moving Pictures programme and the upcoming training sessions.

A schedule for the sessions and additional details, including registration details can be found at:
